2018 MIPCOM felt very vibrant this year. The streets were full of global executives carrying their content on ipads and chatting loudly. The impact of the FAANGS was the main subject “enemy or friends” or “frenemies” as Carolyn McCall CEO ITV comments. The lack of buyers for Endemol emerging also was a key topic and people wondered what the next step was. We fielded five people from ACF and every day was packed with 20/25 meetings – a very busy market.
